    Heavyweight. Zero emission.

Welcome to world’s heaviest fully electric passenger car. Not to save energy or the planet. This car is designed to be a test bed for its happy owner. With 5000 Nm under the pedal, this might be the Mercedes G with the highest torque available - ever. The secret is in TheWheels...

    Nothing under the bonnet.

Fully electric and with 25kWh of Li-Ion batteries under the passenger compartment, the front of this Mercedes is empty. Ideal for testing of hydrogen fuel cell stacks, more batteries, or a generator. Whatever is needed or interesting.

    Powerful in-wheel motors.

Imagine an in-wheel motor that delivers 2500Nm, with an integrated motor controller, at 92% combined efficiency. Meet the system that drives this vehicle. Project g-Electric has no gear linkages, no lengthy cables - just two in-wheel motors with a total output of 5000 Nm.

    Luxury with a touch.

Inside this vehicle, simplicity continues. And the contours of an ordinary Mercedes G become visible. Except for the upholstery. As much leather and steel as possible. And everything a luxury car needs - from sunroof to Bluetooth, and a simple, elegant interface.
